Ava had a project for Kindermusik this week which was to create a statue using whatever she wanted, of whatever she wanted. She immediately told Kevin and I that she wanted her statue to be of a cake. So, we went with it. I couldn't help but be a little proud when she started getting detailed about how to decorate the cake when we were in Hobby Lobby. She has obviously watched what I have done when making the cakes I have in the past. She wasn't accepting less than a two layered cake with a cake topper. Of course she needed a little help but for the most part, it was all her idea and it turned out precious. She can't wait to show it in Kindermusik class tomorrow.
I'm thinking I will be teaching her how to decorate cakes in the future. :)

Brother's 1st Photo Session
Brother moves around all day and night and during the ultrasound, he wasn't any different. We were able to get a lot of shots but not all are good. The nurse said that he is already in the 67% for weight (2 1/2 lbs) and in her exact words, "You have a good size baby! He will be every bit of 8lbs or more if you go full term." Yea...just what every mom wants to hear! The most important thing is that he is healthy and growing. He is definitely still a boy. No mistake there. Another funny moment was when we saw his foot. The ultrasound nurse said, "Wow! That is a big foot!" I imagine we have another tall baby on the way. I'm going to be the shortest member of the family...and I'm not short. Jennifer is the nurse that did our ultrasound but Christy is the one that has done all of my other ultrasounds for the girls. She saw us in the hallway and as soon as she saw the photos, she said, "She looks just like Ava and her Daddy did." They all look the same to me but she sees ultrasounds every day so I put value in what she says. I would love for him to look like his Daddy but we are head over heals in love with this baby no matter what he looks like. We got a small video but can't seem to get it to work just yet. I will post when we can. Here are a few pictures of Brother...and his gigantic foot.

Sucking his thumb. He would also stick his tongue out over and over when he was searching for his thumb. |

Now back to nursing my sick girls. We all have colds. Fun times.
