Happy 1st Birthday Eli!

My baby boy is ONE!  I am thrilled and sad at the same time.  Thrilled that God chose us to be the parents of this incredible boy and heartbroken that time has to go by so fast.  So, I will hold him as much and as long as he wants me to.  I will tell him how much I treasure him many times every day.  I will be a constant in his life and I will always not only thank God for this wonderful child but also for the tiny whisper to Kevin and I that He had plans for us to be a family of five.  I'm glad we listened because I can't imagine a day without him.

Here's to our last first birthday.  Tears.

Now if only time would slow down.
